Welcome to the tenth seminar in the UK Clinical Research: A Professional Awareness Update series. We have been running these seminars biannually since 2014. In addition, since 2016, we have been annually addressing the issues facing our sector, post Brexit, in a series entitled
Landscape for CROs post BREXIT. The last one of these seminars was held in January.

At the time of writing we have neither achieved, nor resolved, the impasse in BREXIT and we don’t even know who our prime minister will be in July! Nevertheless, despite this we have made progress in optimising our clinical research regulations, procedures and support to maintain the United Kingdom’s position as an ideal location to develop new drugs and medical devices.

This event will again bring together key stakeholders from government departments, regulators, industry experts, the wider community of healthcare professionals, and patients to deliver unique insights and a roadmap for the continued success of the UK domestic research industry.
