CCRA Code of practice...
All members agree to abide by the CCRA code of practice. In the
vast majority of cases, these standards are the norm for our members
even before they join CCRA. Our insistence in adhering to the code
is simply to ensure that all members offer the same high levels of
quality and professionalism.
Quality
All members must ensure that all clinical contract research is
carried out in compliance with ICH-GCP and other regulations and
legislation governing the quality of clinical research.
Quality assurance (QA) is a requirement of ICH-GHP (5.2, 5.19)
and is one of the principal means by which regulatory authorities
and sponsors are assured that clinical contract research is
conducted to ICH-GCP. Members must have a nominated person in their
company responsible for QA and through policies, standard operating
procedures (SOPs) and a system of internal audits must ensure that
the highest quality standards are maintained.
Financial
Members must comply with all national regulations governing the
financial management of companies.
Members must be financially sound so that the fulfillment of
contracts and completion of clinical contract research is not
compromised due to lack of funds.
Customer service
At all times members must strive to provide the highest levels of
customer service to client companies. Failure to do so damages the
reputation of the clinical contract industry as a whole, not just
the company involved.
